Of course we should!! It is a truely renewable resource. What we all need to do worldwide is learn how to manage and use our forest resources wisely. There is still too much timber that is wasted, both in the forests and in production. I am glad that we are able to recycle all of our bi-products into fuel – wooddust into pellets, slabwood into woodchip and offcuts to our customers fires and woodburners.
We couldn’t agree with you more, Dave. Our goal is to help educate folks that we can burn wood responsibly using pellets, as you mentioned, or if burning wood, how to properly season it before burning – and to use efficient wood stoves/fireplaces.
